A Saturday Korean school in Connecticut for Korean-American children and families. We teach the Korean language step by step, celebrate Korean culture together, and nurture kind, confident kids in a warm faith-friendly community.
Who we are
Saturday mornings with purpose
Bitnanen (빛나는) means “shining.” We chose the name because we believe every child who walks through our doors carries something worth bringing into the light — their language, their heritage, and their character.
Most of our students are growing up in English-speaking homes and classrooms. Korean may be the language of their grandparents, of holiday tables, of songs they half remember. Our job is to turn that half-memory into something they can use with confidence.
We do that in one focused Saturday morning each week: level-based language class, hands-on Korean culture, and a short story time that speaks to character and faith — all in a room where a child is known by name.
